Lifted up
John 12:32 ”And I, if I be lifted up, will draw all men unto me.”
Good things come from bad things. In a world where all men fall short there is a lesson that none of us are perfect and as a result it causes us to look to Jesus. The benefit of our own imperfection is that we find Jesus.
God is the God of all things and in that it only makes sense that he gets all of the glory no matter what. In the death of Jesus Christ on the surface it seems to be a great tragedy yet at the same time it is the greatest story ever told. Only God could achieve something so great out of something so bad.
The terrible suffering of Jesus on the cross brings the greatest miracle of all time, man’s salvation that we can spend eternity with God. In man’s sin and the entire downfall of the human race from one man, another man brings life. Sin brought death and the man who took sin on himself brought life.
“But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” -Luke 21:28.
Keep Looking Up.
