Union for Mediterranean

French President Nicholas Sarkozy has proposed a Mediterranean union that comprises many nations along the Mediterranean Sea. This plan is designed to improve relations with Middle Eastern states such as Israel and promote peace. The map I have linked below looks eerily like the map for the Roman Empire. For more info read all the links I have below. Now I’m not saying this is a revived Roman Empire or this is what is spoken of in the bible but it is pretty incredible some of the similarities.
