On Monday, the Temple Institute started preparing to build a Third Temple on Jerusalem’s Mount Moriah, the site of the Dome of the Rock and the Aksa mosque, by inaugurating a workshop that manufactures priestly garments.

This group is very interesting as they have been attempting to push the rebuilding of the Jewish temple for a number of years and have not been successful. I also don’t think Muslims and Arabs are going to be as supportive as the article seems to suggest.

The above linked article seems to suggest that if life is found on Mars that somehow religions will have to adapt and change their scripture to fit the new discovery. If they find life on Mars I will say the same thing about life here on Earth. “God did it.”

Are we living in the last century of our civilization? Is it possible that all of our technology, knowledge and wealth cannot save us from ourselves? Could our society actually be

heading towards collapse?

A dramatic preview of an unprecedented ABC News event called “Earth 2100.”
According to many of the world’s top scientists, the answer is yes, unless we take action now.

Funny, if a Christian said these are the ‘last days’ he would be called a kook!

Archaeologists in Jordan have unearthed what they claim is the world’s first church, dating back almost 2,000 years, The Jordan Times reported on Tuesday.
“We have uncovered what we believe to be the first church in the world, dating from 33 AD to 70 AD,” the head of Jordan’s Rihab Centre for Archaeological Studies, Abdul Qader al-Husan, said.

He said it was uncovered under Saint Georgeous Church, which itself dates back to 230 AD, in Rihab in northern Jordan near the Syrian border.

“We have evidence to believe this church sheltered the early Christians — the 70 disciples of Jesus Christ,” Husan said.

Eleven minutes after Israel came into existence, the United States became the first nation to recognize its independence.  And because Harry Truman did what was right instead of following the conventional wisdom, we can say today that America is Israel’s oldest and best friend in the world.

What’s fascinating to me is that the U.S. recognized an unnamed state as Israel had not yet chosen it’s name.

Einstein: Belief in God ‘childish’

Albert Einstein described belief in God as “childish superstition” and said Jews were not the chosen people, in a letter to be sold in London this week, an auctioneer said Tuesday.
The father of relativity, whose previously known views on religion have been more ambivalent and fuelled much discussion, made the comments in response to a philosopher in 1954.

Matthew 18:3-4
“Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven”

THAT Mr. Einstein may be your greatest blunder of all time.
